Double DTYS, DYLS, and DYS fittings are designed to divide airflow from a single vacuum header into multiple branch lines while maintaining efficient system performance. These double branch fittings are commonly used in industrial dust collection, pneumatic conveying, central vacuum, and material handling systems where multiple pickup points are required from a single main line.
Double wye fittings help reduce turbulence compared to sharp branch connections by providing smoother airflow transitions through the piping system. This design can help improve conveying efficiency and reduce pressure losses in vacuum piping networks.
